“It was very touching to witness this first hand as it happened.” New Yorker Edward Ip shares a story on his Facebook.
“I saw these two cops from the NYPD House Bureau 4 come in to a restaurant w a less fortunate gentleman. At first I thought the guy was in trouble but these amazing officers actually came in to make sure he ordered a meal. They paid for it out of their own pockets and went right back to work. It was very touching to witness this first hand as it happened. It does prove that law enforcement isn’t just about guns and bullets. There are many more good cops than the bad ones that made the headlines. Good deeds deserve good recognition.”
“I didn’t have the opportunity to take their names down, but they are with Housing Bureau 4. Please help me share this to make sure they get the recognition that they deserve from the right people…” Edward Ip says.
