NYC Councilman Koo with Food Delivery company, Kick off Voter Registration Drive

Flushing, NY – In preparation for the nation’s historic presidential election between Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton, Council Member Peter Koo and the food delivery service, today kicked off a voter registration drive within the food delivery service’s coverage area until October 14th – the registration deadline to vote in this year’s presidential election.

Until October 14th, delivery drivers from will include voter registration forms with each of their deliveries in an attempt to encourage voter participation within the Asian American community. The company will also deliver voter registration forms to residents even if they do not order food. is available by phone at 718-460-7858.

CM Koo stated, “New York City is the most diverse city in the world, and candidates are vying for Asian American support because they know we are a growing segment of the population. Unfortunately, barriers in language often prevent new Americans from realizing their potential at the polls. Especially in immigrant communities, voter education is often as simple as letting people know how to register. That’s what we’re doing today. is doing an outstanding service by carrying registration forms to its constituencies, and I encourage everyone to remember to take part in our democracy and register to vote.” CEO James Chen stated, “Our delivery drivers are proud to include voter registrations in our deliveries until October 14th in order to encourage voter registration.
